Prana is a magical vessel for children. The experience will light up their memories and fire their imaginations for a lifetime.
Not in the full sense: there are no adapted bathrooms, handrails and so forth that would comply with Western standards.
However, the Ambon Suite on the main deck has step-free access to the Atelier de Beauté, the water sports platform, the bar, the indoor and outdoor dining and living spaces and the bowsprit lounge. Every suite also has a shower you can sit down in.

By bank transfer to our Prana account.
Travel & arrival
four questionsOur staff meet you at the designated airport with oshibori towels and mineral water, and take you straight to Prana, moored nearby. From the moment you step off the plane, you are well taken care of.
For Komodo voyages we meet you at the airport in Labuan Bajo; for Raja Ampat, in Sorong. If you are setting sail on the Banda Sea we meet you at Ambon airport, and for Alor, at the airport on the island of the same name.
Many nationalities qualify for a free 30-day visa, but the best thing to do is check with the Indonesian embassy in your home country.

On board
nine questionsAll special dietary requirements can be catered for, as long as the crew are told in advance: everything from halal and kosher to vegetarian, vegan and coeliac diets. Sailing on Prana is a customised experience.
Prana has plenty of power, supplied by three Yanmar generators that bring the hot showers, air conditioning, sound systems, TVs and cinema to life. Sockets are two-pin, 220 volts (round pins).
During the voyage there will be some intermittent mobile coverage, but we don't advise that you rely on it. It is mainly available while sailing near Komodo National Park, Sorong and Ambon.
We provide a local SIM card free of charge. In an emergency we can offer a satellite telephone for your personal use, for which a charge is made.
In many of the waters we sail there is no 4G internet: the splendid isolation harks back to a simpler time. However, there is satellite internet on board to stay connected, free of charge, and we also provide 4G modems for local signal, free of charge.
Internet and mobile services in remote regions are sometimes affected by adverse weather or local geography.
A satellite phone can be used in an emergency and is charged at cost. We will also give you the numbers of our team in Bali, so that if you need to reach your family back home, we can help.
Every suite has a range of beautiful products, including sun creams, serums, after-sun, moisturisers, shampoo and conditioner.
Each guest receives a complimentary 30-minute spa treatment as part of the package. Any further treatments are charged.
Yes. You can buy the products used in the spa and those provided in the suites, and take the aromas of your voyage home with you. The exquisite products from Anne Sémonin make a divine keepsake.
Tips are warmly appreciated by our crew, but certainly not mandatory.
Diving & activities
three questionsNo. There is diving for every level throughout the eastern islands of Indonesia, and our crew will choose dive sites to suit yours. Even if you have never dived before, you could take your course on board.
And if you don't fancy diving, snorkelling is just as much fun: some of the best spots are in the shallows.
You can dive up to four times a day, with at least two hours between dives. With so many activities on board and islands nearby to visit, the schedule is really up to you; if your main aim is to dive every day, our staff will make it happen.
Yes. All guests are advised to take out insurance specifically for water sports and scuba diving. All the activities we offer are undertaken at each guest's own risk, and we require your diving qualifications and licences to be shown to our staff.
Health & safety
three questionsWhen guests arrive they are given a comprehensive safety briefing, so they understand the yacht and its equipment. Prana is equipped with GPS, SSB/VHF radio, radar, a depth sounder, smoke and fire alarms, two life rafts, life jackets, life-ring buoys, a well-equipped first-aid kit and oxygen.
Certain vaccines are recommended for visitors to Indonesia; always ask your doctor what is right for you. Note that some areas of Indonesia are malarial, and that Lariam (mefloquine hydrochloride) is unsuitable for divers.
We recommend that every guest has comprehensive cancellation, trip interruption, accident, medical and baggage insurance.
